Welcome to my corner
I am Mara, an autistic and queer storyteller, and my pronouns are they/them.
I've been creating stories and building imaginary worlds for as long as I can remember, and for so long I spent most of my time there, in those worlds. This world never felt like home, and although I loved stories, there were few that I felt were for me.
For the longest while, I thought there was something wrong with me, who didn't have a place in this world. It wasn't until I was an adult and realised I was queer and autistic, that everything made sense.
Now, I know why it's so important to have stories you can see yourself in, because if you don't, you somehow don't exist. You don't have a place in this world.
Years later, I started to write the books I had always wanted to read when I was younger. And here I am, sharing them with you.

My Stories
They have been called many things, my stories. Queer, fantasy and about love. I simply call them good stories. Some characters are queer, some are not. Some are autistic, some are not. But through it all, none of that really matters. Only their own story matters. Their own path of finding home.
